LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: BILMURI AT THE O2 FORUM KENTISH TOWN, LONDON 01/04/25 (+ SOUTH ARCADE)

On the last night of his European leg of the Motor Tour, the Kentish Town Forum lit up with excitement as Bilmuri (Johnny Franck) graced the stage, enthusiasm at a maximum right from the top of the set.

Bilmuri is the epitome of 'Y'allternative'- not so much a genre of music, more a Midwest emo state of mind. The night began with 'EMPTYHANDED' from Bilmuri's latest of many albums; 'AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS'. (You'd better get used to these capital letter titles). The song introduced perfectly the mood of the night; a funky, punchy country-fest.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: THE DARKNESS AT OVO ARENA WEMBLEY, LONDON 29/03/2025

In 'The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows' John Koenig coined the term anemoia- the feeling of nostalgia for a time that you never knew, or indeed that never even existed. Over their eight albums, The Darkness have cultivated the musical version of anemoia, dragging the listener through an uncanny valley of familiar but slanted glam rock.

This isn't the first time The Darkness have played Wembley having supported Hollywood Vampires in the arena back in 2018 and co-headlining with Black Stone Cherry in 2023. Tonight, however it is all about the enigmatic quartet and their sold out 'Dreams on Toast' album tour.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: MORGAN WADE AT O2 FORUM KENTISH TOWN, LONDON 25/03/2025

On March 25th 2025, Morgan Wade took the stage at the O2 Forum Kentish Town for a special acoustic show. The moment she walked out, the crowd knew they were in for something special. With just her voice, a guitar, and raw emotion, she created an unforgettable night of music. The O2 Forum Kentish Town was the perfect spot for this kind of performance. It’s big enough to hold a crowd, but small enough to feel personal. The stripped-down setup gave the night a relaxed vibe, making it feel like a private session rather than a big concert.

LIVE REVIEW + PHOTOS: DELILAH BON AT THE GARAGE, LONDON ON 21/03/2025

Being called a 'brat' a decade ago would've garnered a very different reaction to the same accusation in 2025. Nowadays Delilah Bon embraces the label as a bona-fide Punk-Brat and the description is apt. Charlie XCX may have notoriously popularised the phrase last summer but in the world of down and dirty hip-hop infused nu-metal, the description reeks of raw attitude and authentic rage.

Tonight, Delilah Bon has attracted an audience of young women and their very much chaperoned men, creating a safe space to absolutely lose your shit.
