HALFLIVES UNLEASH NEW EP BEFORE EMBARKING ON EU/UK TOUR
The alternative rock project Halflives (led by Linda Battilani) has released her newest EP How Much A Heart Can Take Before It Breaks on April 11th via Still Standing. This five-track release is entirely written and produced by Battilani. The EP delves into themes such as emotional burnout, societal pressures, and the impact of capitalism and social media.
‘‘Over the years, as I've grown as a person and a songwriter, I've felt the need to say something about the world around me - its pressures, its expectations, its norms, and the journey we all go through to navigate the emotions that come with it.’’ Battilani shared on Instagram. ‘‘The loneliness I feel in the face of the chaos out there makes me want to build a community where we can find and support each other. Halflives has always been about creating a safe, inclusive space - not just in music, but in the way we connect with one another. With this record, I feel like I've truly come into my own - as a songwriter, a creative, and an artist. Whether you love the early Halflives sound or the newer vibe, there’s something in this for you.’’
The Italian singer is also embarking on a tour this spring to promote the release of the new album. UK fans can catch her perform at Bristol on April 16th, Birmingham on April 17th, Manchester on April 18th, Glasgow on April 19th and London on April 21st.
