JISOO DELIVERS A VALENTINE’S DAY gift to fans WITH THE RELEASE OF HER EP “AMORTAGE”

BLACKPINK’s JISOO follows the footsteps of group members ROSÉ, LISA and JENNIE in their solo adventures with the release of AMORTAGE, her debut solo mini album, released on February 14, 2025, through her label Blissoo and Warner Records. This release marks her first solo project since departing from YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in 2023, and ME, her first solo release the same year.

The title "AMORTAGE" is a fusion of "amor," the Latin word for "love," and "montage," reflecting the EP's exploration of various stages and moments of love. JISOO co-wrote all four tracks alongside Jordan Roman and Jack Brady, with production handled by Blissoo and The Wavys. The EP comprises four tracks, the catchy lead single “earthquake”, “Your Love”, “TEARS” and “Hugs & Kisses”.

JISOO thanked BLACKPINK fans, stating “I poured my heart into this project and I’m so excited to share it with you all. Thank you, BLINKS, for your endless love and support. This one’s for you!” (via Warner Records press release)

Critically, AMORTAGE has been well-received. Crystal Bell of NME awarded the EP four out of five stars, praising its polished pop sound and Jisoo's confident embrace of "pop's timeless pleasures."

To promote the EP, Jisoo released a series of teasers leading up to the Valentine's Day launch, including concept posters and track previews. She also held a fan meeting event titled "Soo in Love" in Gangnam on the release day and announced the "Lights, Love, Action!" fan meeting tour, set to span seven cities across Asia.
