‘‘MAYHEM’’ MARKS THE RETURN TO POP ROOTS FOR LADY GAGA

Lady Gaga's latest album, MAYHEM was released on March 7, 2025 via Interscope Records, 5 years after her sixth album Chromatica. This seventh studio album marks a return to her pop roots, blending genres like synth-pop, disco, industrial pop, rock, and dance-pop. The album includes the singles “Disease” and “Abracadabra’’ as well as 12 other tracks that reveal Gaga’s desire for a mix of different sounds. The electro grunge ‘‘Perfect Celebrity’’ is one of the standout tracks, a raw and introspective song where Gaga channels her anger and frustration toward both the industry and herself.

The album has been met with critical acclaim. Pitchfork describes it as "one of her most robust statements," highlighting its dynamic production and Gaga's versatile vocals.
